About Our Canine Art Prints

The Regal Hound™ is excited to be able to debut "Susan & Sophie" original canine artwork. Susan Ciaccia is the talent behind these classy black and white framed dog prints and Sophie, her canine friend, the inspiration.

The artist lives, and has her art studio in, an 1870's Victorian House on the Delaware River in rural Pennsylvania. Susan completely restored this beautiful house herself. She studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the School of the Visual Arts in New York City. She graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with a degreee in Art.

Susan's talent and interest in drawing, painting and restoration led her to a subject near and dear to her heart. Adopting shelter dogs, one abandoned after Hurricane Katrina, and giving them a happy and peaceful life is one of her "pet projects." A percentage of her sales go directly to shelters in the area.

Creating beautiful drawings of various dog breeds and personally framing them is a great avenue for Susan's talents. Her partner Sophie, of the canine persuasion, is always at her side providing the love and creative energy all artists need. Sophie's endorsement of all designs is an absolute necessity. A nod of her head and a twitch of her pink nose, yes, pink, and Susan receives her stamp of approval.

The Regal Hound™ is happy and proud to collaborate with gifted artists such as Susan, especially one with such a generous spirit. Susan will be featuring more breeds weekly, and her product range will be expanding in the near future. Her handsome, illustrated dog prints measure 8 1/2" X 11" and are mounted in black, all-wood frames, ready to hang on your wall. Your chosen print will be personally signed by the artist.
